The QAC generators consume less fuel. How can it do that? The electric VSD (Variable Speed Drive) motor-driven, cooling fan, adjusts the cooling flow to the specific requirements of the engine. It maybe sounds simple, but this engineering sets the QAC generators apart.
The three-phase, auto excited and auto regulated, synchronous and brushless Leroy Somer alternator sets the QAC generators apart. We also feature a Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG), auxiliary exciting supply and an anticondensation heater, all designed to extend the lifetime of the machine. The KTA 50 engine is powerful and extremely compact – perfectly in sync with the QAC specifications.

We know you cannot afford to be down for even a minute. The QAC generators were designed with ease of service in mind. Featuring large access doors and a dedicated door for the cleaning of the coolers, we even provide custom-service tools to ensure that service can be done in the quickest possible time.
Fully loaded with protection systems and accessories, the QAC generators optimal performance in extreme and difficult conditions. Due to their intelligent cooling system, we can ensure 100% power at 40°C at an altitude of 1000m (a.s.l.). This makes these generators ideally suited for use in extreme temperatures and high altitude environments, while lowering the risk of detrimental high temperature shutdowns.
To tackle the biggest jobs, the QAC can run alone or in parallel with other generators. You have the choice of island mode or using the Power Management System (PMS). You can also run the QAC generators in parallel with mains, peak shaving, fixed power and AMF.
